              FORMULA WINDSURFING GRAND PRIX 2004 
            18-26 JUNE RHODES ISLAND GREECE 
             
              24 June 2004 : First Racing Day 
            After the skipper meeting where the competitors were told by the 
              representative of the mayor Mr Stergios Stagas that they will be 
              given accommodation for free by the town hall and Forum Beach Hotel, 
              today at 12h30 started the first official race competition of The 
              Rhodes Windsurfing Grand Prix 2004 organised by RWA. In front of 
              the Forum Beach Hotel on Ialisos Beach the weather conditions were 
              perfect for the race, sunny day,15 knots regular wind direction 
              West North West. The marks were located by the Race director Bruno 
              De Wannemaeker closed to the beach and all the spectators could 
              enjoy the four races of the day.  
            The overall winner will be decided by his best result of twelve 
              races carried out over the three days (4 races a day max).

              Obviously, the English Ross Williams had a good day today, he dominated 
              most of the races with three win and a third position.
